Casselman Restaurant

We had to make an unexpected overnight stop in Casselman and we didn't want fast food. The Casselman Restaurant was welcoming and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a very large menu that ranges from pub food, seafood, steak and even Chinese. We ordered a small pizza and the steak with green peppers... The portions are massive! (Skip the appetizer). We would definitely recommend this place to anyone stopping by the Casselman area.

Good menu, good service, good food. In my opinion, it the best all around place to eat in Casselman. Have been there many times and was not disappointed.

Stopped in Casselman on the way home to Montreal from Ottawa and decided to try this place because the reviews were amazing. I had my picky kid with me and my skeptical husband. Well, we already mentioned this place to a few friends (went there 2 days ago) and my husband keeps reminding me to review because this place is awesome. The food was amazing and the waitress who served us was amazing, I wish I had gotten her name but we were there on Wednesday evening around 7pm. so hopefully someone will tell her how much we enjoyed our meals and the service. I ate one of the Wednesday specials of Fish and Chips. It came with a soup and a salad. The soup I chose was cream of mushroom. It was amazing, a bit salty for me but I don't put salt on much. The salad dressing was amazing and even my husband who shared my salad was extremely impressed. Sadly they don't share the recipe so I will just have to go back there again one day. By the time the fish and chips came along I was already getting stuffed but boy oh boy, the piece of fish was huge and tasted amazing. The veggies: rutabaga, carrots and celery were cooked perfectly. The chips were a smidge undercooked but still tasty although I was soooo stuffed from all the other food and could not finish them anyhow. My daughter loved her chicken strips and fries and had a wonton soup that she kept saying was better than the one from the Chinese restaurant near us. My picky eater ordered a small pulled pork pizza and really liked it but what were we thinking, he couldn't finish it, should have gotten a mini. We took home the leftovers. My hubby had the lasagne and also mentioned how it was just as good as the one he remembers from a restaurant we used to go to when we were younger. Who had room for dessert? Anyhow, if you are ever hungry in Casselman, this is the place you need to eat.

The food is great..the people are friendly!! The owners have been there for years and are very nice! There is a great variety of food and its all good!! We are from the area and order out eve ry weekend!!

Not at all a specialised restaurant, but one with two very competent chefs who alternate sometimes there was one exception on a saturday afternoon, with replacement staff, when the french fries were dried-out and totally unworthy of the customer there is limited parking by the building, but fortunately public parking à half-block away these two factors the reason why the note is 4 rather than 5
