We were coming back for a tour of Europe driving from Barcelona Airport on route to Andorra. We decided to check la font del balç in Gironella half way between Barcelona and Andorra. The restaurant is very picturesque, at the side of hill, a few miles from the main highway, old, with the same rural, farming design from the 1930. The owner work fulltime and she is always on site to pleased the regular clientele and tourist like us. The reduced staff was extremely friendly, professional, on call, on demand and making sure to make your visit absolutely fantastic!! The food was unreal: I have no words to describe it, you have to visit this restaurant and taste it. The mountain rice, the churrasco steak,the duck magret, the traditional chess and honey,or chocolate desserts, along with wine and expresso bombon coffee. I love the Mediterranean cuisine, but this one , is traditionally cook to core!!! We will highly appreciate and recommend this rural, out of this world restaurant to all travelers in the region!!

No passeu de llarg. Passió per la musica en viu, cuina 'deluxe ', natura en estat pur ben a la vora i sentir-se com a casa.. Q més es pot demanar?
