High quality food manufactured on a high level should have a price. However, in this restaurant the high price is payed for the atmosphere and the spectacular view over the cassis bay. The price of the dishes is on michelin star level, the food is...not. Incredients are fresh and from a good quality but the chef does not create from it that could be expected by menu description an price. As an example the Maki for roughly 30€ consisted of three thump thick cucumber roles with a watery crab filling, not really creative. The desserts were the best of the menu, however also not reflecting the price. The Service was good but slightly over-motivated. I was still eating when the waiter wanted to remove the plate under my hands. In conclusion for two people, 3 dishes each and a bottle of wine, we payed more than in a michelin star restaurant nearby, where we had 6 dishes each on a high level and a wine pairing.

Excellent hotel with great service, wonderful restaurant and skilled chef. The pool is to die for! I'm looking forward to being there again this June.
