Le dragon - Castelnaudary

The only good at this restaurant was the karaffe wein. the food was bland, had no taste and no flavor at all. the parts were tiny. the chicken with the mushrooms had about four pieces of chicken. we were often in vietnam. and in the did many great Vietnamese restaurants to house (new sea) and were so bitterly disappointed. we tried to talk to the owner who did not want to know and prove that because he was in castelnaudary for 35 years, he must be in order. Now, we can only say that the franzoses are so starved by Asian means of living in this city, they know nothing else. we do and will never be back again

Was in this restaurant often either on my boat in the harbour, or in a residential property on the campsite. always very friendly staff and very good eating. excellent startersalate, plus their nems are always good and served with salat and...mint wein prizes excellent by the pitcher. good spicy eating when they order piquant. closed Tuesday and Wednesday, sad.

The little bar and the inner restaurant have been done with great taste don't be put off by the fact that people can also take away food. You will not be aware of this in the restaurant. It is a typically Asian menu and...cooked to perfection. A nice little touch at the end was the flambé for the desserts. It was possible to choose from a menu or a la carte. Clean, pleasing and with excellent and friendly staff. We were early and the place really filled up. I never thought I would opt for Vietnamese/Thai food in a French town but really glad I did.

This place is just different. It is Vietmanese Chinese . In a region with a bias towards confit de canard , cassoulet , magret, fois grass and other local cuisine, this place offers an alternative. It is popular with locals as offering something else....There is , of course , a french twist , but the Dragon has been in business for a long time. It is a short walk from the basin the Canal du Midi for those who have arrived by boat and looking for something different. You will not be disappointed.
