Fresh Foods Iga - Castle Hayne

Love the steaks!!!! Picked up some local sausages as well!

We purchased some sausages and hot dogs for a huge 4th of July cookout among friends and family. Well needless to say what I am about to tell has happened before. Molded sausages has happened there before not to mention the disgusting filth in their deli!! Floors are covered in food, grease, god knows what else. Don't believe then go 8th idea anytime and just look at how filthy there deli is. I brought it to the attention to the very unprofessional and sloppy looking manager and he just looked at me as if I were crazy and he just walked the opposite direction. I have been in the food industry for several years and was truly disgusted by what I saw at IGA foods in Castle Hayne N.C. Do not shop here!!!

My Wife I travel from South Wilmington, Carolina Beach Rd Shipyard Blvd,almost 25 miles one-way, to take advantage of IGA 's LOW, LOW Meat food prices! UNBEATABLE!

Have seen steaks from here, slim/green. Manager was told about it, acted like it wasn't his problem. People in the community need to contact local Health Department before someone child gets really ill or worse contacts E.Coli.
