Hog's Breath Cafe - Castle Hill

Hog's cafe is a clean friendly place with standard food . Staff is friendly and place is big enough for kids to run around. If you like stake and chips, this is the place to go. Especially their curly chips is quite famous

We were in the mood for a stake and my friends recommended that one. the staff were friendly and the place was nice but the stakes were nothing to write home about. I don't think that they can cook well done stakes, mine was almost dry and my wife's was definitely dry. I have had well done stakes before that were juicy and tender, this place is not one of them, and the steak was recommended by the staff as well, its not liked we ordered something unpopular. But then again my friends do mention that stake is not their speciality.I don't think I will go back there, but if I did I will not try stakes. for that price range it is not worth it at all.

Went after Movies at Castle Tower with 3 boys and myself. We had the Kids Menu and Lunch Menu.Lunch Menu was the Chicken Burger with Guacamole, and a Steak Burger with Wasabi Aioli. Burgers were cooked reasonably well. Wasabi Aioli was a bit too mild and bland.Kids Steak was ok...a bit chewy and some gristle, and Kids Calamari - a little over deep fried, so chewy. Curly Fries were ok...over salted though. They provide salt on the table, therefore really should undersalt the chips and let the customer add to taste.Kids meals came with a small glass of juice and 2 scoops of (artificial) ice cream.All in all a good experience and definitely value for money with each dish roughly around $10 each.Be nice to come back another time and have a standard a la carte meal and see if they are better cooked.

Probably should have booked considering it was a Saturday night however, the staff warned of possible delays due to a group of 60 being in. The then set about delivering really good, fast service. Entrees were out quick and the mains in good time. Every meal was well received.Possible improvement, time to add pulled pork options to the menu.

You would think that when an establishment advertises as being top notch for steaks they might be close. No cigar here folks.Mediums asked for all over cooked and my Sirloin was thin and crispy on the edges.Vegetables were cold and undercooked. The only saving grace was the Baked potato.Far from an economical choice, so far from impressed.
