If a restaurant lacks atmosphere, I'd still be inclined to eat there if the food was out of this world. The La Collina didn't have either. We had several friends join us for dinner there one Saturday and ordered a variety of different dishes. A...couple of the pasta dishes were good but everything else was ordinary. There was uncooked pasta and overcooked lamb in the mix. The restaurant is not that terrible that I would say not to go there, but it shouldn't be the first choice for Italian cuisine in the Castle Hill area. There are better ones around.
This is a small restaurant quite hidden away from the usual eating places at Castle Hill. It is quite a bland restaurant with no nice views to speak of. All three of us enjoyed our food however we had to wait over an hour for...our main and the place was nearly empty. The prices are very good but the meals are quite small, I was so looking forward to having profiteroles and they were tiny. We only saw one member of staff and he was pleasant and professional.
Hidden in castle hill away from the main eating areas, you find this cute italian restaurant with its friendly service and nice food. It's small restaurants like this that need community support and it was a nice experience, just felt empty because not enough people...maybe know about it. If you're in castle hill go and try this restaurant out!
We hadn't been here for a long time so thought we would try it again. The food was nice but nothing to boast about. The gelato was very good
