There were four of us and I just wanted to mention that the eggs were cold, which is not ideal considering they are usually the last thing to be cooked. When I went to pay the bill of £40, I mentioned the issue to the young girl at the till but received no response, no refund, and it seemed like she didn't care at all. Unfortunately, I won't be returning as a customer.
The cafe was mediocre with average service. The owner was arrogant and refused to make any substitutions on the set breakfast menu. It's no surprise that their previous customers left and opened up Poppies cafe across the street. I definitely won't be returning there.
I visited Cosy Cafe Benfleet today and was surprised by the high price of a tea cake, costing £3.20 each. My son had already ordered and paid, otherwise I would have left. I do not plan on returning to this cafe again.
This cafe is very clean welcoming and friendly food always hot pie and mash is,scrumptious give it a visit you will not be disappointed prices reasonable
After reading reviews i visited the cosy cafe not expecting to much , how wrong was i.the cafe is very clean and inviting and the staff very welcoming, we sat at a very comfortable table for 4 people with ample room, the menu is great with a wide variety . i ordered the minted lamb chops our friends ordered the lambs liver and a plain lamb chops, my wife ordered home made steak pie. when the food was delivered we could not believe the size of the plates and the quality of the food especially at the price we paid ,i don't know how they do it for the price charged, overall i highly recommend cosy cafe and will be making many return visits
