Fantastic pub, great pint Guinness full of craic and Mick himself the ultimate Gent

Best Guiness Stout ever... so fresh, can never get this taste back at home from canned and bottled Guiness. Great gentleman Pat to serve us drinks.

Fantastic pub. Mick is a real gentleman. We came in with friends not from Ireland and they were made the most welcome they've been since they arrived.

Just past the bar we were greeted by Mick Byrne himself. A wonderful gentleman that makes the rounds engaging each and every customer. We just stopped in for a pint of Guinness as we were wandering about town, but we were made to feel like old friends. This was one of our favorite experiences based on how warm and welcoming the host and owner, barstaff, and other patrons were toward us.

Very nice pub overall, one of the best sports pubs in Castlebar and surrounding areas. Only thing I’d mark them down on is that they are cash only so you have to remember to get cash before going
