Dhaka - Castlebar legal

We enjoyed a late Sunday night meal at this restaurant, featuring Butter Chicken, Tandoori chicken, and the lamb dish #51 with naan, garlic naan, and basmati rice. Everything was delicious, reasonably priced, and the service was excellent. We also purchased two bottles of wine to go with our meal. We will definitely dine here again!

Staff lovely.The curry was mediocre at best. I ordered a Jalfrezi. Lots of heat but it could have been anything. The lamb was very tender. Tasted more of curry powder than real flavour. I’ve clearly been spoiled by many excellent Indian restaurants. It’s not bad especially if you have nothing to compare it to. But you won’t write home about it. It’s beige

Visited this restaurant recently and on arriving without a booking the premises was quite full. We had our young kids with us and were not comfortable with indoor dining, just yet. No problem. The staff offered to put a couple of tables outside which was perfect for us. The food was top quality and overall for the of us, the price was reasonable. Lovely evening and thanks for that little extra step.

Today we dined in Dhaka, and the service was incredibly friendly. The staff was absolutely lovely, and their warm hospitality spoke volumes. The experience was simply stunning! I ordered the tandoori chicken masala, and it was the most delicious dish I've ever had! Thank you so much—we'll definitely be back soon. I highly recommend eating here!

The staff were wonderful, but the curry was just mediocre at best. I ordered a jalfrezi, which had plenty of heat, but it lacked distinct flavor—it could have been any dish. The lamb had a very mild taste, more of curry powder than authentic spices. I must admit that I’ve been spoiled by many excellent Indian restaurants. This place isn’t bad, especially if you don’t compare it to others, but I probably wouldn’t tell anyone about it back home. Overall, it was a bit disappointing.
