Village Kitchen Cafe - Castlereagh

Two of us had lunch here for the first time. We both had the VKFC chicken with sweet potato fries. It was amazing. The dish comes with BBQ sauce, but my colleague asked could she have garlic mayo instead and this was no issue. Really nice atmosphere, very busy and very clean. Looking forward to my next visit already as the menu looks great.

This cafe is one of the best i have been in and without a doubt well worth the money . Proper good quality ingredients . Staff are more than helpfull , chilled quiet atmosphere . Will be back

We’ve been several times now. Service is excellent. Staff very friendly and cafe lovely and clean. Nice children’s play area and local art work. Great menu. My favourite is the baked items. They are all locally made and are amazing especially the cupcakes. Great options for gluten free and they have specials for vegans and vegetarians from time to time and bistro evenings. Good facilities.

I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant today and will definitely return. I saw someone mention that it was £8, but that price included tea and coffee. The food was delicious and the children's play area kept the kids entertained until our breakfast was served. I hope this place continues to thrive!
