Curly fries. That’s all I need to say—delicious! I didn’t have to wait long at all. After reading some other reviews, I think I was fortunate.

This place looks like one of those run-down, plastic establishments you often find in strip mall parking lots—perfect for fueling up before tackling a Costco run or after collapsing into a chair following a long afternoon of furniture shopping. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the meat is smoked, the menu is diverse, and the food is made to order. The prices are reasonable, and the dishes are salty, generous, and surprisingly delicious. As an Australian burger enthusiast who is usually critical of local takes on that American classic, I must say it’s surprisingly good. The curly fries are incredibly tender, and my hot dog was not only delicious but enormous, which meant I didn’t get a chance to try my friend’s blissfully devoured ribs.

My boyfriend and I are big fans of spicy food, so we decided to check out Memphis Wings. The burgers were quite good! The buns weren't too dry and didn't overshadow the patties and fillings. The fries were delicious, especially when paired with the sauces. The Memphis wings had a nice level of spice—not too overwhelming. I appreciated that the spice came from a marinade rather than just chili powder. The interior had a cute American diner vibe, which we really enjoyed. Our server was very sweet and helped us out when we couldn't decide what to order. Overall, a great experience!

The burgers are decent, but they don't quite deliver on the promise of authentic American style. The prices are not particularly impressive considering the size of the burgers. Additionally, if you want a different sauce for your burger, there's a $1 charge. Honestly, the cost and effort to switch sauces shouldn't be that much. I also found the burger buns to be tougher than expected; they're not as soft as they appear. If you're in search of a place to make your go-to burger spot, this isn't it.

It was my first visit to Memphis Wings, and while there was some litter around the place, the excellent service and food quality more than made up for it. The ribs were tender, juicy, and slightly crispy, having a bit of a char. We tried the smoked BBQ sauce on both the ribs and wings, and it was fantastic—definitely worth a taste. I’ve had dry chicken wings at other places, but I highly recommend the ones here. Additionally, the curly fries were crunchy, which I really enjoyed. On my drive home from Memphis Wings, I found myself already craving those ribs! Overall, I would definitely return and recommend this place to others.
