Vietnamese Soul Food - Cat Ba

I had the pumpkin and garlic with rice and it was very tasty. Great big portions and great value for money. Very sweet family running this place. I’ll be back !

The staff at this restaurant are very friendly, and the pumpkin with garlic is exceptionally delicious! The portions are also generous, but we couldn't resist finishing our meals because they were too tasty to leave behind.

Had dinner here and was amazed by the ambience (mostly I don’t expect a lot of a local restaurant, but this was cosy) and the friendly staff. The owner came to say hello and said we had to be patience for the food but it would be worth the wait. It actually was. Although the fresh spring rolls were not really good, had better ones! Also go and try the local apple wine, it is really nice.

This place is incredible! It was my favorite restaurant in all of Vietnam. My friend and I ate here for four days straight. The staff was extremely friendly and even gave us a discount and free Vietnamese apple cider because we were regulars. Anyone visiting Cat Ba island should definitely try it out!
