Frisch's Big Boy - Catawba Island

Don't waste your money at this big boy. I use to stop here a lot to grab a bite but after yesterday I will no longer go to this restaurant. I took a friend for lunch and it wasn't busy but the food we received was cold and not good at all. I took three bites of my burger and had a long curly hair in it . I would've finished it but it tasted horrible so I was done eating. My fries were cold and my coleslaw tasted bad too. My friend ate his burger but his fries and onion rings were cold so he didn't eat them. I wasted $30 on a couple bites of food. The server asked how it was and I told him it was not good and he could've cared less. It was a big let down. The place used to be good but now just find somewhere else to eat. Thumbs down big boy.

Chicken BLT salad. The actual fried chicken tenders (approximately 2 total. Cut up) on top were pretty good. The salad was just shredded iceberg with cucumbers, tomatoes, bacon bits and cheese. Lots of cheese. The tomatoes were a bit elderly and partially dried. Not like sun-dried.... just dried out.Service was awkward. I asked Do I pay you or walk up front? Answer: pay here. I guess that was the answer to the unasked question, Can I just walk out? I eventually realized that I needed to go up to the front counter to pay, regardless of what my server said.POS system at the counter was really a POS system. Took several attempts before the cashier told me that they don 't take my particular card. So had to shift to backup payment method.Eating there happened. I cannot deny it. Regardless of how much I might want to deny it.

Nothing like a case of food poisoning from subpar, poorly prepared fish.

Was soo happy to eat here we used to have a Big Boy in the Lorain area it was awesome ?

Only open for lunch. I hate to say it, but I'm not sure Big Boy will be around much longer.
