Joes Crazy Grill - Cathedral City

After reading two glowing reviews of this restaurant on Menuism, we decided to try it out last night. I knew it was located in a strip mall and was small, but I was surprised by just how small it was. We chose to sit at the bar, which is the best spot in a sushi restaurant because you can watch the sushi chef prepare your meal. We started off with a large Sapporo beer ($5.50) and ordered the "All You Can Eat" special for $22.00. I began with a Spicy Tuna Roll, Lachs Sushi, and Crab Sushi. We also tried the Tuna Sushi, Philadelphia Salmon Cream Cheese Roll, Shrimp Tempura with avocado roll, Scallop Sushi, Yellow Fin Tuna Sushi, and more. It was a lot of food for the price. The waiter was friendly and helpful, and the sushi chef was skilled. The only downside was the atmosphere, which was very basic and small, more reminiscent of fast food than a beautiful Japanese restaurant.

The restaurant has a clean and cozy atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and cheerful when I visit. They also have convenient hours. It's recommended to make a reservation, as the place can get crowded, especially during Happy Hour specials.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! The waiter is amazing, and the sushi chef is a rockstar in the kitchen! Be sure to ask the chef for his special dish - they are always incredibly delicious.
