When we walked in the sushi chefs welcomed us really great and when we left as well. They have servers who were not professional and argued with the customer instead of apologizing for the situations in front of us. Our server just gave us one mini apple juice for the little one for 3.50 and were expecting another bottle at least and got nothing not worth getting at all). We didn't get any refills on our drinks even though we had our empty cups on the edge to be refilled on an empty day where two customers were there before us. They need an update on the broken dishes so no one touches it and gets cut. It's a really small restaurant but I don't mind it. Yakisoba beef was so burnt and the sauce was really bland with over cooked noodles and raw vegetables. All the sushi we got was drenched in sauce that we couldn't taste the fish which is the star of the dish. It wasn't rolled properly and once we started eating, the roll was falling apart. It's not traditional sushi but it is unique with a Mexican flare to it. The calamari and the gyozas were excellent and recommend it only. We got a complimentary dish that we weren't expecting but was decent. Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly for small ones only older children.
Service is fast, food are beyond delicious and the staff are very accommodating. I love this place you never go wrong going to this place Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Roll, Mango Roll, Shrimp Tempura
Where do I begin? I ordered a rainbow roll and vegetable tempura, pretty straightforward/standard. The vegetable tempura was completely undercooked, the broccoli was rotten. Absolutely disgusting. The fish on the rainbow was totally insipid, and mushy. In other words, not fresh at all. I am hoping I do not get sick. And the cost was ridiculous and they charge you to use a credit card without telling you. Just wrong in every aspect. Stay away!
We recently moved to Palm Springs and were looking for an all you can eat sushi. Looks like thats not common here. We decided to give Memo's a try and we were pleasantly surprised. They have a lot of options. The sashimi was fresh, the rolls were delicious and their portions are very generous. We thought it would be another place like Culichitown, IT IS NOT! They have traditional rolls as well as their own creations. The chef sent us a roll on the house to try and OMG. I wish I remembered the names of the rolls we got to recommend but I'm sure all are delicious. Going there for dinner tonight, can't wait to try different ones. Excellent and friendly service too!
