Mountain View Grille At The Desert Princess

I felt like I was held captive while waiting for my card to be returned, and the waitress seemed unresponsive when I needed assistance.

I'm not sure whether their outstanding customer service or delicious breakfast was better, but it's rare to find both at the same place. It was refreshing to witness such teamwork; the waitstaff supported one another, regardless of who was assigned to our table. Everyone was incredibly friendly, making sure we had everything we needed, which prompted me to take a moment to leave this review. I can't wait to return!

The restaurant has a certain charm, offering stunning views of the golf course. It tends to attract an older clientele, but the food is excellent and the drink prices are reasonable.

I toggle between 3 or 4 stars...you wouldn 't come here for the ambiance. Very dated interior. That being said, the few tables outside have excellent views over the golf course towards Mt. San Jacinto. I came here for lunch. My Ruben was good and the fries were exceptional. Hot and very crispy....no need for ketchup..they were excellent plain. I will go back to try one of their themed evening dinners. Wednesdays are Mexican food; Thursdays are fish and chips, Fridays Prime Rib and Saturdays are italian. The only strange thing is that they close at 7:30pm which seems early to me. I was joined at my outdoor table by a curious bunny..

Laidback spot with great food, service views of the golf course while you enjoy. The club sandwich is delicious. The staff is very friendly. We will come back for sure.
