It was very crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, the topped greens were good and the Cole Slav, the roasted green tomatoes were AMAZING (which are very hard to find good in CA). The waitress was so friendly and provided us with great service. The whole place was very clean including the toilets. We will definitely be back even if we live 1 hour away, it was definitely worth the ride. Good Southern Food is hard to find in CA, so if you like it, this is definitely a place to visit your list.
This place is amazing, I can't stop begging about it as soon as I left it I want to try it everywhere in my social media and now everyone I know. It's so tasteful and so different from everything we have here. Take it from me, I even want to taste their entire menu, sooooo good. Love love love this place! The not only complaint I can honestly give is when I tried the fried egg on the Cajun Benedict, it was over boiled and I would like the yok to pour over my sausage and shrimp. The aromas were soooo amazing
I wanted to go here for more than a few years, but would always want to end up getting it at a time when they were sadly closed. But that changed the day before my birthday! My Gf and I loved it! Probably the best chicken fried steak I've ever had, period and this Gravy! Tell the boss or the chef I can teach her secret about it because I can do something heavy, but man, you beat me. The deserts are just as good. Absolutely loved the grottos, had no grottos that were good since I lived in North Carolina.
A late breakfast stopped. Our group enjoyed everything. The coffee press cup coffee was very delicious. I will try again for lunch/night
I’ve been ordering from this restaurant for quite some time now have always had an amazing experience! I’ve never had a bad meal here. My favorite is the French toast… cinnamon HEAVEN! Their sweet tea is my go-to when I’m craving a traditional southern treat. I lived in Louisiana for 14 years and am so glad Southern Belle is right down the road from me here in the desert! Cheers!
