Atwaters Bakery Cafe - Catonsville

This is an excellent spot for coffee or breakfast. The menu offers a wide selection for both, and the atmosphere is lovely. I really enjoyed the egg sandwich I ordered. There’s plenty of seating available on the upper floor, along with complimentary water. However, the stairs are quite steep, which can make it a bit challenging to navigate with a coffee cup in hand. I would definitely come back. Update: I returned and enjoyed it just as much! The breakfast plate also looked appealing.

Breakfast in the morning. It wasn't terrible. Customer service is always good here. I chose the breakfast table. Overall it was good. The bread was very roasted. It was 7 grain so that could have contributed to the effect. Also the eggs and potatoes were warm not hot. The eggs had the pourable egg feeling, I'm pretty sure they were not freshly cracked eggs. Would have been better. The potatoes could have been crispy, but were still pretty good. They offered a coffee option with unlimited refills to which I jumped and was surprised by the massive cup I received. Was pretty good brew. My wife chose the sandwich she enjoyed. I would recommend checking it out if you were looking for a decent breakfast and nice ambience. Calm up and tables were nicely spread out.

I always have a great experience with the staff at this location. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and authentic. The coffee is consistently excellent, regardless of who is working behind the bar. I'm a big fan of bread, especially the seasonal varieties, and I appreciate the fresh products available in the refrigerator. Atwater's location truly ticks all the boxes! Definitely give it a try!

We ordered 3 lbs of the chicken salad for a party we had and it was delicious! Many compliments of friends and family. And it was much easier to get it here, then try to make it yourself. We have 3 pounds for 12 people and we ate everything, even though we had a lot of other food. My husband thought it was a perfect crowd, but next time I'd probably get a pound just to be sure because it's also big remains.

Always always love this place. This time I breakfast sandwich and I wasn't disappointed. While I was waiting, I picked up some pawpaw butter/jam from the market area. I love that you can pick up some bread or soup or other locally made items while you wait for your delicious food. The staff at this location are super nice too. All around great experience.
