Very tasty and great portion sizes. The chicken is halal, which is great for muslims. The coffee and tea are creamy and delicious. Although the chicken vermicelli was well cooked and grilled, the chicken pho had a very boiled texture and less flavor (the broth was fabulous).
Good food, quick service and affordable price. Wished their peanut sauce had more peanut flavor. One of my favorite winter dishes to order is pho
One of the better Pho restaurants in Catonsville. Wife loves Vegetarian Pho (pic and spring rolls w tofu. My favorite is Bun Bo Hue, spicy soup w several meats. It comes w a thicker noodle, almost like spaghetti, so I ask for the normal pho rice noodle instead. Also has pork blood (piece I had was not good , pork knuckle (see pic, sub this one out, it had only one little bite of meat , and fatty brisket (tough . The meats in this dish are not good compared to other places, so I think I 'd rather order a different pho and ask them to use the bun bo hue broth. Best of both worlds. Pork Sausage app (pic was $5 for one sausage, and I really didn 't care for the oddly sweet flavor. When you need an alternative to regular pho, try the seafood pho in ckn broth (pic w egg noodle. Last visit our waiter was an older gentleman and he was really pushy, rushing us during our order, turning to me when my wife was NOT done talking about her order. Brought out our pho before our appetizer. When we asked for the appetizer first, he said, Oh it doesn 't matter, it 's all coming. It just takes longer to prepare the spring roll than the pho. WTH? Later because he wasn 't busy that second we asked for boxes to go and he literally told us he would bring them when we were done. Of course after our check was paid we were still waiting for those boxes. (Star lost for this waiter alone. Spicy Chicken Shrimp (pic w/ fried rice (upcharge is ok, but too much of the sauce and it get 's like too much burned pepper taste. Either share the dish or get a different sauce. I like that it came with little cup of pho broth.
Pretty good pho, but not the best. A small bowl of pho costs $14, and a large $16, which is way more expensive than what you expect to pay for in the Baltimore area. But the taste is pretty good. The soup can be richer, whereas the noodle texture is just right. If it’s cheaper it would have easily gotten five stars from me.
