I came because I'm on the search for good or great cream of crab soup. It has been a task. I came to Ship's because of a few reviews. They made me feel too confident. Ordered their cream of crab soup, which was super thick and chunky with crab meat (I like these), but had an awful smell and wasn't very tasty. It was off to a wonderful start until I tasted it. It just wasn't good. No bread accompanied it. Pros: Made to order Great customer service

Be careful because the prices online are not the prices inside but the crabs are juicy, hot, large, meaty, and delicious. They are a delight for your soul. The staff Lynn, my waitress was nice and very knowledgeable and helpful when she could be. But beware of the costly prices but you get what you pay for! On a side note, I don't think that the AUTOMATIC GRATUITY should be paid by to the waiter or waitress. WHAT if they are not deserving of the tip. Gratuitous means

Can never get a straight answer about crabs. Either told the wrong time to come or are told the wrong sizes. We have been going here for many years and it always been like this. Other than that the food is really good. The staff is prompt and polite. I actually do recommend Ships.

My wife wanted crabs and Ship's was recommended by her coworker. We ordered cream of crab soup and a dozen XL crabs. The soup and crabs were great. Our crabs were hot, heavy and seasoned well. We only ate 1/2 a dozen before we tapped out. My wife did say next time she will request a little more seasoning. Last but not least our server Brandi was fantastic and we will be back.

Support small local businesses! Incredible place for a variety of seafood. Full bar for your choosing of your favorite drink. Make reservations for fresh crab ordered by the dozen good for a larger group, prepare to pay $130 for any other food or drinks. Great people and great service.
