The Duck Inn - Cavan

Superb food, really good service and fabulous decor. I had the duck with champ and mixed green buttered veg which was delicious. If anything I would have eaten more veg. The sauce was to die for. My husband had the Cajun Chicken Burger which was juicy and very tasty and my sister-in-law had the fish and chips which she said was excellent.

Had a really delicious meal in there tonight. Everyone's food was excellent and the service was lovely.

Food was well cooked and felt very relaxed. Food cooked when you order fresh and yes a little wait but soo soo worth it. Very big portions but got to say this is the king of steaks. Cooked to the way you ask when you order and cooked exactly no under or over just perfection. Highly recommend you stop by and try and I guarantee you will go back because I will definitely be back.Parking: Car parking will not be short as multi storey round back as well as a large carpark.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair friendly but try to go earlier in the day as late evening is extremely busy.

Lovely decor and genuinely lovely food. A beacon of good dining in Cavan town. Recommended.
