*doughts when I opened my lunch. That's all. $30 later and I'm starving. At least give me something to fill in. can they really consider a 1⁄4 disk of a pickle one side? especially when it starts at $24.
Oh, my goodness, I wanted to be in a position to write a good review. sad to say, I can't. I had read about daves lobster and decided I wanted to go there. I was so disappointed, I had the half and half. roll and hubby had the grilled cheese lobster. there was absolutely no gratification in it, I even asked if the lobster itself had ever been in salt water. if someone would wash out definitiw. it was an overpriced meal ride on daves name ... he would have put the load off if he had tasted it. there was no salt in it so that my hubby went back to get some salt and the restaurant itself had no lol just a big full box lol . my disappointed lies more in me because I will not reclaim our money. will never eat again at Dave’s lobster
I ordered the half and half lobster roll, which was delicious, but significantly overpriced at $21 compared to other similar options. I have had equally tasty lobster rolls for a fraction of the cost. Despite the lack of a busy crowd, service was slow as only one young lady was working, and it took at least an hour to receive my food.
I have had a number of lobster rolls in my day, some better than others. This unfortunately falls into the “others” category. I got the Some Fancy roll, the largest one. First strike was that it was frozen lobster, you can taste the difference from...fresh. Despite it being sautéed in butter etc, it was pretty dry and flavourless. Unfortunate really, it could have been so much better for the $25 price.
