Ivan - Cavtat

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Ivan and all his team were very attentive and the food was excellent on all occasions we visited. When we return to Cavtat we will certainly be coming back to dine here again. Kid-friendliness: All the staff were very kind and attentive towards our 1.5yr old. The children’s meals are great too! I had a terrible experience at Ivan the Terrible!! Restaurant, as the food made me sick and ruined a part of our holiday. The owner was dismissive, rude, and unapologetic when we spoke to him about it the next day. I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant, as I suspect many of the positive reviews here are fake. The service, meal, and atmosphere all received a rating of 1 out of 5.

I recently enjoyed a dinner at this restaurant where the price per person was around kn 200-250. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend trying the Beef Stroganoff, it's a must-try dish!

If I could give zero stars, I would. During our vacation, we decided to have lunch at Ivan's. Unfortunately, my partner started experiencing stomach cramps soon after, and ultimately got food poisoning. The situation worsened when I spoke to the restaurant manager the next day - the customer service was terrible and the manager was rude. They dismissed my concerns and suggested that my partner might have a wheat allergy, even though we had only consumed water. The food was mediocre, the service was poor and condescending, and the whole experience ruined the rest of our vacation. My advice: don't bother dining here! Service: Dine-in Meal type: Lunch
