The Back 40 Family Restaurant & Sports Bar

I ordered the banquet burger, which had delicious cheddar cheese and crispy well-cooked bacon. The fries were nicely cooked and there was a good portion size. The burger was a bit undercooked in the middle and almost rare at one end, so I couldn't finish the last fourth of it. However, I was already full by then. I would be willing to give this restaurant another chance and try something else from the menu. The men's bathroom could use some improvement though.

I have visited this restaurant a few times and the service is always friendly. There aren't many options in Cayuga, but you can't go wrong with this place. The beer is consistently cold and the food is quite tasty. Prices are reasonable.

I stopped by this restaurant today while passing through after seeing positive reviews on Google Maps. The server was attentive and friendly, and didn't hesitate to recommend one of the hamburgers when asked. She wasn't lying! It was one of the best and most delicious burgers I've ever had. The burger was perfectly cooked, the bun was nicely toasted, and the fries on the side were excellent.

This is a typical local pub with sports decor, tables and bar. Service is prompt. Menu is standard pub fare.

Stopped for lunch on the wway back from the falls last week. Beer was cold, had a double burger with fries. Good homemade patties, condiments were fresh. Overall a good lunch at a reasonable price. Would stop there again.
