La Tegola - Cebu City

We enjoyed a delightful dinner at this restaurant, sharing a quattro formaggi pizza along with a pasta dish, the name of which escapes me. Before we began our meal, we were treated to a delicious appetizer. The pizza was exactly what we hoped for, but the pasta was a pleasant surprise with its unique Filipino flair. The atmosphere was enhanced by relaxing music, and the decor was quite intriguing.

This is a tranquil restaurant where the food is quite tasty, especially the mashed potatoes. However, the mushroom steak was a bit too salty. It could have just been an off day for that dish, though.

A great spot for authentic Italian cuisine! The portion sizes are larger than what you'd typically find in Filipino restaurants, making them a good value for the price. The flavors really shine through, showcasing genuine Italian herbs and spices. The ambiance and interior design are also quite pleasant. However, I did notice a deficiency in customer service. It seemed like there weren't enough waitstaff, as nobody greeted the customers entering the restaurant; the staff merely observed those who arrived. During our visit, the waiters seemed to wait to be called rather than proactively checking in to see what each table needed.

The place looks like a pub/barrel shape which is quite unique. I got the seafood frutti de mari oil-based pasta and it tastes really good. Probably i will try their other pasta again when i go back to cebu. Servers are also ok. What i didnt like though, is the place itself. The noisy clients' voices are echoing in the whole restaurant.

Real Italian food for a good price! Nice ambiance to the restaurant. Wish it was livelier though, it was a bit dark and hot when we were there. Will try other options on the menu next time to see if my rating changes.
