Ig Winery Tasting Room - Cedar City

The theater ended early last night. Bob and I decided a relaxing cocktail would cap the evening and we chose IG Winery. Walked in. Patrons seemed to be enjoying themselves. No one greeted us so we found a comfortable couch. So far no eye contact from theseveral servers who were strolling about. We sat for 6-7 minutes and no one acknowledged us, even though they were chatting withother customers. Was there a protocol? Should we stand at the bar to be served? What do you do to be seen? We left with a verybad impression.

Very great atmosphere, snacks and drinks were awesome! I don't drink wine, they have a lot more to offer.

IG was a highlight for us while staying in Cedar City. We’d been largely disappointed in the food and drinks we’d been getting from various establishments and didn’t expect much. We loved everything about IG! There was careful thought into the atmosphere of the tasting room, the service was excellent and our server at the time (Jaden sold the experience on the wines and their tasting notes. We liked just about every single wine on the red and white tasting list save maybe two. Especially love their 10 year anniversary wine and the Rousse (sp? . We’re not from the area and only have carryons otherwise we would have bought a few bottles. But we plan to order them online! Highly recommend IG to enjoy good wine, good service, and a lovely indoor and outdoor space.

Jove helped us. He was really nice and attentive. I loved the way he explained the wines for us and did us a huge favor! I love the wines they offer and actually became a member!

That was a wonderful experience. the atmosphere was welcoming. sitting was cozy. the drinks were delicious and beautifully delivered. we went to a weeking and live music filled the room offering a fantastic mood. we will definitely go back.
