Firehouse Subs Cedar Hill

I can't recommend Fireworks Subs in Cedar Hill unless improvements are made. This was my first visit, and it will probably be my last. We placed our orders and had to wait 25 minutes for our food. A family that ordered 30 minutes before us ended up losing their order slip, yet we received our food before they did. Unfortunately, our sandwiches were not made as we asked, and the taste was underwhelming. It felt like the person taking our order was more interested in hurrying us along than in actually listening to our requests.

Every time I order through DoorDash, my food is never correct. It feels like they just rush to throw everything together and toss it in the bag. The potato soup no longer tastes the way it used to—it's more like a muddy mess. Maybe the staff has become complacent, and it might be time to hire new employees who are genuinely eager to work there.

Typically, the service here is quite fast and satisfactory, but this time it took 30 minutes from when we checked out to when we finally left. That’s ridiculous for just two sandwiches, especially since there were only about 3-4 other customers in the restaurant. I hope the manager takes note of this and considers bringing in some extra staff because the two employees on duty couldn't handle the workload at 6 PM on Saturday, October 1st.
