Butcher Block Boyson Road

The Metzger Block is undoubtedly the best steakhouse in Cedar Rapids. My filet was cooked to perfection. We had an excellent server who was attentive and kept our glasses full without being intrusive. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. This was my first visit, but it certainly won’t be my last.

My wife ordered the Greek salad with chicken, and I went for the 18-ounce dry-aged ribeye. Both dishes were outstanding, and our server was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely return. Everything was cooked to perfection, and our drinks were reasonably priced.

We visited the restaurant for the Mother's Day Dinner tonight. Although they were quite busy, they made the terrace available for seating. We started with onion rings, which were fantastic and a perfect portion for two. My wife and I both ordered the Delmonico ribeye, and the steaks were cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. We will definitely be returning. It’s an excellent place!

Sweet place and the food was great. I ordered two ducks. Pure gluten.

Expectations Exceeded!! A reliable go to when winding up a long day. The happy hour is the best in the area. The steak salad and prime rib nachos were the best. Our friends had the pork medallions and along with traditional steak and baked potatoe and were extremely impressed with the cut of meat. Thank you to the staff...see you soon.
