Chappy's Safari Lounge - Cedar Rapids

I absolutely love this restaurant! Every time I come here with my friends, we have a fantastic time. I especially enjoy singing karaoke, and Jason, the DJ, is amazing! The bartenders are not only gorgeous but also quick to serve drinks. I recently celebrated my baby shower here and had a blast!

Captain and Koks is a great spot for karaoke with Jessy! It was the perfect way to spend a Friday night, even though I had to work the next day. The $5 drinks were a great deal and definitely did their job. I can't wait to go back and sing, even if some of us were a little out of key. The diverse group of people made the evening even more enjoyable. I look forward to returning and spending time with them again.

After visiting Safari, you won't leave hungry. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the food was delicious, just like mom's homemade beef dishes. I will definitely be returning in the future.

I came in after I got off work for Karaoke and a drink or 2. The bartender was evidently having a bad night and when I asked what beers they had she just stared at me and said domestics and stuff like that. So I ordered something else. She took my debit card and I didn't realize she started a tab for me. I normally never do tabs, I pay as I go. Karaoke was pretty decent. But I'll only come back if I can't make it to my normal bar, this was very lackluster and the bartender made it clear she wasn't having a good night and it threw the whole mood off. Regret coming in.

The coleslaw was terrible. I tried to get oinion rings as an appetizer but never was able to place the order. The bar was empty on a Saturday night at 8pm. The hamburgers were good. We will not be rushing back.
