The staff was friendly, and I ordered the pollen con arroz along with a paloma to drink. The food arrived quickly and was delicious! The hunch was very fresh and juicy. The paloma was flavorful, although a bit sweeter than I prefer; however, it was still enjoyable. While the prices are on the higher side compared to other local Mexican restaurants, the food was excellent overall.
I have dined here before and usually enjoy the food, but today was disappointing. The enchilada came with a dark red, thick sauce that tasted stale and unappetizing, so I only took a bite and was relieved I didn’t eat more. The refried beans were overly runny, and it seemed like there was a shortage of cheese because there was barely any on the dish. Additionally, the salsa was unappealing and tasted old.
This is my second visit, and it wasn't very busy. The afternoon atmosphere was relaxed, and the food was delicious. If you haven't been here yet, I highly recommend it!
Nachos was great, service was not. We gave up our order and got our nachos, but we used to get our other food forever, so we had to cancel how we had to be somewhere. Our waitress has never checked how things go or if we need something, and has a problem rolling with the eyes
Clean, open space, comfortable. Staff are attentive and friendly without being overbearing. The plates are warm to keep your dinner warm throughout the meal. I commented several times on how good the food was. In my opinion, This is the best Mexican restaurant on the Southwest side.
