I have not been here for 3 years but this was the worst Food I have ever had (will never be back and the health department should close you). Your servers can't tell you how a dish is prepared, what's in it, or if it comes with sides without having to ask the kitchen. Where we were sitting I could see in the kitchen and it was filthy. Whoever is the owner and GM have zero clue how to run a restaurant, train kitchen or servers. The margs have changed once again and you have made them worst. You guys are the worst restaurant in CR if not in Iowa. Very sad to see once a great restaurant now this. Please do the community a favor and close no one should eat this horrible food. Derek.
Had to try this place again since it has been remodeled. All I have to say is: identity crisis. Are you Mexican? American? Smoked BBQ? A bar? Pizza place? Italian? Greasy spoon? Stick to one thing and do it well. The menu is a complete mess. You can choose between smoked ribs, enchiladas, a tenderloin, nachos, American breakfast, or pizza? Come on this place needs focus, a manager/owner that knows how to run a clean, organized shop. You have a ton of great examples all around you. Copy their formulas. Zepplins, local pour, burgerfiend, Quintons. Still 1 star.
This restaurant has undergo an extrem remodel thanks to the New owner that to it back over.. I can personally say.the Menu is back to the original Pappas Juans..new chef, etc. To all that was upset I will definitely be back .The Margaritas are back to the best.. Food is amazing. The owner has remodled to during this pandemic and still made extra precautions on safety for all. I GIVE THEM A 5. THE STAFF IS ONE BIG FAMILY . I ROMEND GIVIVING ANOTHER GO.. ALSO MORE IS IN THE WORKS
I had been anxious to try this place for years. Its wasn't what i expected at all. Its the most american mexican food place you could think of . They were out of chips the day we went they had to defrost them. The people at my table informed me this is not a mexican food place. The one good thing i liked about the place is it reminded me of a american legion with the bar and its patrons. But as for food it wasn't what i was looking for.
