Puerta Vallarta - Cedar Rapids

I was genuinely surprised by how great the food and service were! We decided to try it on a whim a few months ago and didn't expect much since it's located in a strip mall. Wow, you really can’t judge a book by its cover! It was amazing!

The restaurant has changed its name to something like El Dorado. I'm not exactly sure. However, I must say they have some of the best salsa verde I've ever tasted, especially on their chicken enchiladas, which are also fantastic! This place feels a bit tucked away, but it's definitely worth discovering. If you're in Marion, this restaurant is a much better option than what you'll find nearby. If you're from the northeast side of Cedar Rapids, you'll be glad to eat here. I highly recommend it!

The food and service are outstanding, and the prices are fantastic. I'm always impressed every time we visit.
