I dined with a group of 10 elderly ladies at this restaurant, and the management went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even visited our table to take our orders and served our meals personally.
My sister and I met up in Sofia last week for a late lunch at A DOK (Daughter of the King) Sister. We both enjoyed delicious food and excellent service. I had a half gondola sandwich and my sister tried a variety of dishes with mushrooms. Everything was tasty and we had a pleasant experience chatting for a few hours. The staff was friendly and only checked on us to make sure everything was okay. Overall, it was a very welcoming atmosphere. And did I mention the food was fantastic?
Customer service was wonderful, but the food was very subpar. They put all the effort into the crust of pizza, the cheese bread is like a bread that she roasted with slices of cheese hardly melted up... it was very disappointing.
I am quite puzzled by this restaurant. The pizza had a great crust, delicious cheese, and good sauce, but the toppings were just frozen. It seems like they make the dough in-house, so why not use fresh meats as well? The cheese bread was also a major letdown, as it appeared to be ciabatta bread with butter and garlic seasoning, topped with a slice of mozzarella and baked. Despite the apparent effort put into the dough, everything else seemed poorly executed. Overall, I am very confused by this establishment.
