Jim's Grille - Cedarburg

This place is a jewel on Main Street in cedarburg. There are roots back where this place was rich before Jims. A must in the city of Cedarburg. Make sure to get rid of frits!!!

Great food! We often order here, especially pizza, but I really enjoyed everything I ordered. Great fish roast!

I was warmly greeted where I was executed. It wasn't very busy for a Friday night. Server was kind of slow and forgotten. I asked for beer two times, a beer menu was brought, the server never came back. For appetizers I had onion haystack, a mountain of deep roasted onion strips. I had a 3 piece of fish fry dinner, came with frits, 2 slices of butter rye bread, small bowl of Coleslaw. The food was good portions, delicious and satisfying for after a hard day at work. Surely a beer needed. I don't know why the server didn't want to work. There weren't a lot that makes her crazy.

Great breakfast place. Good coffee, good service, really enjoyed my breakfast. I had the Irish eggs Benny and my friend had a traitor. Cooked perfectly to order and although there was a lot, it did not take long until the dish appeared.

My next destination of the Foodie quest takes me once again to the city of Cedarburg, Wi. This time we had an opportunity to dine in at Jim's Grille. It was a laid back place that let us chose where we wanted to sit. Wonton Pepper jack sticks were a nice twist on the classic mozzarella, with a nice crispy exterior and creamy pepper jack cheese on the inside. Combo plate the broccoli cheddar bites were nice and warm and the chicken tenders were very crispy. Those were amazing. However the last item the crispy onion strings were a generous portion, albeit a little tepid. They rewarmed it and it was still good. Southwest steak wrap with an herb tortilla was amazing and juicy with a small kick of spice. It was warm and a bit zesty. The herb tortilla brought in more flavor to the dish. The chicken club wrap was amazing and was packed like a Tetris game lol! Everything inside was extremely flavorful, from the tender chicken to all the other stuff included it was an easy 4 star meal! These wraps came with chips normally, I'm wondering why there is an upcharge for fries when a good chunk of people would prefer them instead. Overall it was a pretty good experience with a nice take on some classics.
