Excellent service, great meals and the staff are lovely

I came in with my mum and a friend we had 3 courses all our meals were piping hot and very flavoursome. We will be back.

Visited the Cross today with my husband and daughter and enjoyed a beautiful well presented meal . The staff are so friendly and welcoming . I would have no hesitation in recommending this pub to anyone who likes good food and a brilliant atmosphere .

Come in today with my family 6 of us I have to say how gorgeous ALL of our meals was !! The staff are very friendly and made us feel so welcome . We often come to this pub because we are always treated with great respect and the staff always look after us !! Can't tell people how amazing it is here and how much we highly recommend!!

Absolutely appalled by the customer service on the staff there today. Booked for myself, my husband and 2 children, turned up to be 'greeted ' by a not so happy young man. We were firstly asked on arrival, 'what do u want? ' Told to sit where we want whilst swearing at another member of staff. Sat down, had to get up and ask for a menu. 30 mins went by, no sign of anyone coming to take our order despite 2 young girls being behind the bar chatting so we decided to leave! Will never be going here again
