The staff have the right balance of being friendly, funny and professional they could not have been any more accommodating. Well done canteen. Beautiful food, comfortable restaurant, great service. Can’t wait to go back again
One of Dublins best places to eat. Excellent food and warm friendly service.
Stunningly good food. Adventurous menu. Lovely friendly staff. An incredible night out and highly recommended. Ask for a padded seat (never a problem) as the hard ‘canteen’ seats are a mistake for fine dining. A bit noisy. Needs more acoustic measures. Otherwise absolutely fantastic.
So I have been to get the Marlin as we so miss Canteen from being our door step in Celbridge. Finally this weekend I got the pleasure. Oh how I’ve missed your food James. The carpaccio of monkfish sublime. The duck with the beetroot. The cheese/caramel tart and also the chocolate deserts. The chocolate desert was a real when Harry met Sally moment with un prompted and hard to hold back oohs and ahs. Can’t wait to make my return.
Been to Canteen Celbridge and now to Marlin. The game has been upped and the overall standard and quality super. The good reviews they've had both when in Celbridge and now in Marlin are well deserved. Good value and atmosphere so comfortable. We were a table of 5. They cooked a lovely lamb for my 9yo daughter and never once made us feel we shouldn't have brought her. We'll be back.
