Mario's Woodfired Pizza - Celbridge

Ordered from there new woodfire take away. Food quality has gotten worse than before. Ordered a pizza with ham and it was slices from a packet. Not only that but it was very soggy and falling apart. Tenders have also gone down hill they used to do lovely breaded tenders now they do these battered ones that are the same from a fast food pizza shop. On their menu description the chicken wings say crispy but came soggy as well. Only thing that was right was the Italian potatoes but it's hard to mess up fried potatoes. Cost is nowhere near for the quality you get. Would want to be desperate for it to order again. Hopefully they change because this restaurant used to be amazing.

I've been a customer of Da Marios for over 20 years but I feel the quality of the food has gone down recently. I ordered some bruschetta and the portion was tiny, the bread was burnt and the tomatoes were tastless and unseasoned. Also ordered a pizza, the crust was much too big, so very little topping and it was tasteless and doughy. The staff are really really nice and service is quick. They have recently reopened with a new modern image but I think this was a mistake the traditional Italian look and feel was much better in my opinion, their authenticity was their unique selling point. Hopefully they can return to the quality of food they used to serve.

Wow… used to visit the restaurant of da marios all the time before it closed. The food was just beautiful and so much love was put into it. I remember my last time there, one of the staff members feeing frustrated saying the management are destroying the place and wow they are correct. Since it turned into a take away only, I’ve not ordered from it. I decided tonight I would, and the driver wasn’t given the instructions I made VERY clear on the phone so the poor chap went to a different house, cause they didn’t listen. Then when the food arrived , I opened it and it was a bag of chips from a different place, a local chippers , and carbonara that was genuinely the most disgusting dish I’ve ever tasted. Thrown together. Don’t waste your money here.

Ordered a pizza this evening not enough topping rang to get a 2nd pizza sent out and the 2nd pizza was worse than the first.. pity was lovely the first day we ordered but not today

I’ve been ordering pizza from Da Marios for 20 years and up until recently they were always amazing. We got the Vezuvio and Gambretti and both were equally dissapointing. The sauce and cheese were tasteless and the pizzas weren’t fully cooked. Something has definitely changed. Why did they feel the need to change something that worked perfectly for 20+ years??
