We have enjoyed everything we have tried, but the carnitas are particularly delicious. I personally enjoy their green chili sauce, while my wife thinks their red chili sauce is the best she has ever tasted. We picked up dinner from their drive-through window earlier, and now I can't stop thinking about the leftovers in the fridge. Despite still feeling full, I can't resist indulging in it.
The Fiesta Burger is excellent, but be forewarned, the jalapeño on the side is always extra hot! The buffet at this restaurant is fantastic, and if you have children, ask the server to cut the oranges into duck shapes - it will be a hit with the kids.
A few friends and I traveled from Alamosa to this restaurant hoping for a unique and delicious experience. Unfortunately, we were really let down. I was expecting amazing Mexican food, but when I opened my box, it looked like it came from a can and not fresh at all. I thought maybe it was just different, so I tried a bite. It had no flavor and was still cold. It seemed like they just threw things together, microwaved it quickly, and served it. My friends also didn't enjoy their meals. We ended up throwing away more than half of our food. Maybe when things return to normal, the food will improve, but for now, we won't be returning.
This is my 5th time here and every time, I'm happy with the buffet options.. different options every time but always has the taco bar and the salad bar .. then mix of Mexican food and American food at the buffet that they change up. The service is amazing also. This is a gem in the middle of a small farm town. Would definitely recommend
We got lost coming back from the Sand Dunes, and happened on this delightful place. It was packed when we arrived but the service was efficient and friendly. I've never seen a Mexican buffet before, and I was skeptical. I was stunned by how good it was! The burritos and enchiladas have a fabulous smoky spice, and all of the salsas and sauces were delicious. There was a wide variety of foods to choose from, and everyone at the table found something they liked. Trays of hot, light sopapillas (plains and cinnamon) came out from the kitchen regularly. I'm not usually a huge fan of sopapillas but I could have eaten them all. If you're going to the Sand Dunes, this is an amazing place to stop. I wish it was closer--I'd be here all the time!
