Pirates Cove - Central

If I could give this bar 0 stars I would. I received TERRIBLE customer service and will NEVER step foot in that S HOLE ever again. When I ordered my drinks the bartender gladly took my Amex card and held it for my tab for the night. When it came time to cash out, the owner (JANICE) copped an attitude and said they don't take Amex. NOT MY PROBLEM. She was extremely rude and unprofessional AND they've taken my Amex and gladly charged it many times before! I've also noticed many underage patrons enter before...and that is terrible!! Anything to make a buck!!

Most fun bar in town. The drinks are great and cheap, and the music is always pumping. Matt and Jan always made us feel at home. You never know how busy it'll be, but you can always count on having a blast, especially if you like to dance! Gay, straight, or otherwise, you're guaranteed to have a blast here. Guests are friendly and you'll make great memories!

Not a fan. They charge a cover for music that is too loud and a dance floor way too small. Woukd think there would be drink specials with a cover but none. Only positive thing I can say is April is an amazing bartender

Been coming here for years. It's always the same depressing folks in the same depressing bar. Tonight I had an argument with the door man and the owner herself told me I was banned. Not a big loss. I even tried apologizing to the door man and he shrugged me off like day old sushi. As if this where some hot spot. Not worth your time and not worth your money. Any gay man worth half his salt would have a much better time elsewhere. Anywhere.

Pueblo's only gay bar. It is...the Cove. One of those places you simply have to experience. Liquor selection is pretty bad and service can be hit or miss, but I've certainly had my share of fun evenings there. They've recently lost a couple of really good bartenders, but April keeps me coming back and knows how to pour a great drink. I don't love it, but without another explicitly LGBT nightlife option in Pueblo, I will continue to return more frequently than I'd like.
