Papa Johns - Central Bedfordshire

I like the pizzas from here and I have been coming here for years now. Never had bad service of pizza. Pretty hard to mess up a pizza really. However it’s a great place for convenience.

Ordered for the first time couple weeks back and thought we'd try again. Oh boy were we wrong about them. Ordered through just eat at 7:25 was given a delivery of 8:20, at 9 we ring and are told it is in the car and will be here shortly... At 9:48 we rang again and was greeted by, who told you it was on its way, we have no order then got told that the system never picked up our order. Did however get an apology and offer of a free bottle of drink, lets just say if my banking app let me cancel a payment on the go i would have... As i write this im still waiting for the pizza 2 and a half hours after ordering and ringing twice. Place shouldn't be alowed to trade, from the other reviews seems its common by them!

Last year I ordered from here, took over 1.5 hours to arrive. When it finally did arrive it was not what I ordered, manager refused to give a refund so I had to contact head office for a refund. I left it over a year and thought I would give them another chance, ordered again, waited over an hour and still nothing, called the store to let them know I have to leave for work in the next 30 minutes, he assuered me they are on their way, waited another 20 minutes and pizza still hasn't came, called them to cancel the order as I needed to leave for work and he refused to cancel the order and give me a refund, he said they don't give refunds and I need to contact paypal for a refund. Head office were great and sorted it out again. Will never order from here again.

Sent me the wrong pizza, with a BBQ base which i am allergic to. Made me wait for a call back that never came, so i called back, was offered a free pizza not free i paid already and got the wrong order Agreed to replace the entire order now and ended the call, then called me back to demand i pay £5.99 delivery or collect it myself, then told me to SHOW SOME RESPECT and threatened to hang up on me. Reluctantly agreed to pass my number to the owner to call me back after claiming he was there and they were just talking to him then claimed he WASNT there who no shock hasnt bothered raised a formal complaint with head office now and will also pass this along to trading standards as this order could literally have killed me and trying to make me pay more is disgusting

I have not had a pizza for many months and I was so looking forward to this Papa John 's pizza. My first and ordered online. The tracking and delivery were exemplary, a very good impression. However, disappointment oozed out of the few mouthfuls I ate of the pizza. The remainder went into the bin. The cauliflower dippers tasted of very old oil, even with the garlic dip provided to mask some of the taste. The relief came in the unrecognisably tasting cheese, and garlic 'bread ', which appeared to be little more than pizza base with some sort of cheese on it. Whatever the reason Papa John might have for this tasteless meal, the fact is, it was definitely not what I remember as a good pizza. For just over £30 for the three items, it will make expensive compost. I declined their survey because I could not stop them from planting cookies on my computer. The only working option was the 'accept all ' button. Never again! Regrettably, I cannot recommend their pizzas, their cauliflower dips, or the cheese garlic slices, which is rather a shame, Pull up your socks and change that oil, Papa John!
