No 17 Dickens Yard

Great atmosphere, Great coffee. I personally don’t like the quality of the food here for the price! The fish and chicken are so so so oily. The brunch options are mediocre. They used to have an avocado aubergine lime brunch which was amazing but have since been replaced by avocado beans which is not good in my opinion. The shakshouka was tasteless. The Sunday roast was also dry. I like the atmosphere here so I’ve tried almost every food on the menu and was mostly disappointed for the price it charges!

My niece had her 13th birthday party here. The staff did an excellent job of accommodating and serving 17 kids! The jugs of juice were value for money, as was the child menu (two courses). We supplied our own birthday cake, which the staff put in the fridge then brought to the table singing happy birthday. My halloumi burger was excellent Price per person: £10–20

Rudest staff ever !! Rude security , rude greeter person and a rude young man behind the bar . However there was one server lady who was lovely and our waiter who was so funny and enthusiastic (didn’t catch the name but he was tall and friendly didn’t have hair he literally makes this place what it is . The rest of you need to work on your customer service skills . Food was good drinks were nice but not sure I would come back because of the rudeness of staff
