Now, considering this is located in Westfield Shopping Centre's food court, you'd expect the food to be up there especially since the steak costs an eye watering £50. It goes to show that you can have an expensive menu, but the food has to be cooked by people who know what they're doing. This place has a mixture of good and bad.
Had the beef burger (200g) and fries. The burger was pretty big, but tasted really nice. The price was very reasonable. The food didn't take too long to prepare and was served hot. The service was good and the overall atmosphere was really nice. The most confusing thing was the shared toilets. I don't understand why they opted to have gender neutral toilets. Men women and children have to share. Bizarre. Otherwise everything else was great on our visit.
I love this place, I love the food and the atmosphere. Staff are nice when you have a small crowd, but in a large crowd they can't handle it. I used to come quite regularly because they also do a great lunch deal. But my last visit wasn't that great. I was there for my nephews 16th Birthday, where there was quite a few of us. At this point the waiter that was serving us was rolling his eyes, tutting and then refused to serve us. He was so rude. The food there is always good, but the staff and the manager at the time could really be worked on. All other staff was usually great, its unfortunate that this one occasion has put me off from going there. I might try another branch next time.
Updating review to 2 stars due to the only entrance having a table where people smoke. So walking in and walking out you can be greeted with a lot of second hand smoke. Seems strange. Food is really good, but a bit pricey. Adding more pics for food which is definitely really nice. Upstairs staff are really nice.
All staff I asked said meat is halal. Waiting time for food was 30 mins. Portions looked small but they were filling. Asked for a medium rare rump steak and it was cooked perfectly. Chicken was also properly cooked. Service was amazing, staff were very helpful. I would highly recommend the lunch menu if you're on a budget; steak of the day with chips is £13.50, chicken with potato and sauce is £12.50. Obviously it's going to be pricey if you order from main menu. Interior decoration is beautiful, overall really great experience.
