Elgin View Restaurant - Central Elgin

I have visited this Hong Kong style fast-food restaurant several times in the past and have never been let down.

With a wide variety of options available on the menu, this HK style cafe offers ample choices for diners. The restaurant is particularly bustling on weekends. The portions are generous for the cost, making it a good value for the money.

I came to this restaurant for lunch with the goal of enjoying some authentic Asian cuisine in the heart of Crystal Mall.

Good varied menu with breakfast available all day. Quick, personal, friendly, attentive service. A relaxed and relaxing place.

This restaurant has been around for a long time. It used to be the perfect place to go for afternoon coffee and pie. But not any more. I was there on May 18 for supper. My omelette was made with processed cheese slices...and it was sparse. It didn't look ilke a two egg omelette. The toast was made with stale dry bread. It crumbled when I tried to put jam on it. And the potatoes had been fried a couple of times. I won't be back. There are lots of other nicer places in the area to eat.
