Blue Poppy Restaurant - Central Saanich

I had a delightful dining experience with some original dishes. Every bite was delicious and the outdoor garden setting was fantastic.

In a spacious and flower-filled conservatory environment, this cafeteria style restaurant on the Butchart Gardens estate serves a selection of fresh sandwiches, tasty snacks and more substantial meals. Service is swift and cheerful.

To enter the other restaurant meant pre booking which we had not done so popped into the Blue Poppy restaurant. More a cafe rather than a restaurant prepare for queues particularly lengthy at lunchtimes. More quick bites rather than posh dinners, had a very nice sandwich and it was quick and easy. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Excellent and thorough cleaning of tables on departure.

I needed a quick meal while exploring the gardens, and the seafood chowder was just what I needed!

We stopped for a drink on the way out of the park. nice setting, Open and lots of room. Good to be able to sit down after viewing the park.
