We got 3 large plates for $18 (Singapore dollars about £10:50). There was a variety of choice and there were lots of local people there which suggests it’s good! There are not physical menus and so you just point to what you want while things are not marked clearly vegan, they seemed not to use egg (and it is all vegetarian) so aside from the deserts, it mainly was vegan and people were helpful pointing out what wasn’t. The food was really tasty and it’s a really nice place to eat before visiting the temple!
2 veg and rice or noodles. 3$ incl tea. Can’t be beat. Such few places where one can eat plant based in the city
The payment process at this restaurant could use some improvement. It is inconvenient and stressful for older customers to have to carry their food and drinks to the payment queue after ordering. This is particularly challenging on the first and fifteenth day of the lunar month. (Review updated on January 11, 2024)
Having a vegetarian restaurant located near a temple that is easily accessible to the public and office workers is a true blessing. The restaurant offers a variety of options including a caifan stall, a noodle stall (currently under renovation as of August 2023), and a western stall. In addition to the delicious food options, they also sell drinks, desserts (which are really good), bread, and other items such as tea powder.
