When I added an order of naan bread and delivery fees, the total came close to $50 for bones, rice, bread, and sauce. I found this very disappointing as I was expecting more meat. I would not recommend the goat dish and suggest avoiding any meat with bones unless you want mostly bones, rice, and stew.
I have not dined in at this restaurant, but I have ordered delivery from them multiple times and they are easily the best Indian restaurant in the area. Their service is exceptional - for instance, when a GrubHub delivery driver forgot my lassi once, the restaurant added a complimentary lassi to my next order. They remembered the mistake, my name, and even comped me a lassi on the house.
Absolutely delicious! The food was fresh, prices were fair, and the spices just right. Our servers were helpful and friendly. My only complaint was the music was a bit too loud. I completely recommend them!
We ordered a variety of dishes including Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, Daal Makhani, Whole Chicken Tandoori, and Chicken Biryani at this restaurant. The food was decent overall. The Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala were on the sweeter side but improved with a squeeze of lemon. They were 6.5/10 in my opinion. The Chicken Biryani was not impressive, with soggy rice and average spicing, I would rate it a 5/10. The Chicken Tandoori was disappointingly thin, dry, and lacking in flavor, earning a 3/10. The garlic naan was average and lacked garlic flavor, with a soggy texture. The Daal Makhani was decent, especially with a squeeze of lemon and well-cooked lentils, I’d rate it a 6/10. The prices were very high, with a total bill of $105 for our meal, averaging around $17 per plate. The portions were smaller than expected. Overall, I would not choose to order from this restaurant again.
5 stars for the food alone. Service was good but not super attentive. We ordered a bunch of different dishes, including Chole, Aloo Ghobi, Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Curry, Dosa, Dal Makhani, as well as noon and raita. Everything was well seasoned, flavorful and there were no let downs. Best dish was probably the Chole, because it leaned more towards Pakistani or Afghani than Indian in how it was made.We travel extensively and have eaten Indian in many places, and Bombay Bites definitely makes it to among the best Indian places we've been to in the past five years.A few things to improve on:1. The menu does not give any descriptions of the food, so if you are not experienced with Indian food, it could be intimidating.2. Beer/Wine Prices are listed on a card at the table, but not what beers or wine they serve.
