Guipi's Taqueria - Centro Pitillal

This is authentic Mexican cuisine. The restaurant is very unassuming but the food is incredible and the portions are very filling. The prices here are also cheaper than anywhere else. You won't find a better deal than this

This taqueria restaurant is right across the street from the Farmacia Guadalajara street taco stands. While most people go there in the chaotic atmosphere, at Guipis right across the street you can comfortably sit at a table and eat your tacos for pretty much the same price as those street tacos, and their tacos are really good (I think they have one of the best chicken tacos too). And they are often not at full capacity so there usually is a place to sit. Because of price/quality and the ability to have a decent seat to eat your taco's, this place is one of my most favorite taquerias. The restaurant has a different menu during day time and operating under a different name, but at night time they convert to Taqueria Guipis. Highly recommend this place.

Good Value, good-sized portions, tasty and made to order. I had Alambres with chicken and a Coke for less than $12. This little restaurant is off the beaten path but worth the walk from our hotel by the pier.
