I am reviewing the takeaway section, not the café. We ordered 4 pieces of cod and chips, 2 battered sausages with chips, and 3 battered sausages alone, totaling almost £50. Unfortunately, most of the food was inedible and had to be thrown out for the birds. The chips were overcooked and dark brown, while the batter was clumpy and crumbly instead of crispy. Overall, the meal tasted terrible. We have visited this place many times before, but this was by far the worst fish and chips we have ever had.
I walked past the restaurant today and was craving fish and chips because it was raining. Jamie kindly allowed us to dine inside even though the shop had closed. The food was excellent and Jamie provided us with exceptional service. I would give Jamie a 10/10 rating!
What a gem of a cafe. Super fish and chips on a wet and windy October day. Dogs welcome. Staff very friendly. The fish was very fresh and the chips made with Pembrokeshire potatoes. We look forward to a return visit next season
Very friendly staff, food freshly cooked to order. We've had fish and chips from many places throughout the UK but as always this was the best take away fish and chips we've ever had.Weve visited 3 or 4 times and the quality has always been excellent .Very generous portions and piping hot .
