Contribuisci feedbackWe are very familiar with ceréste, spent there for three months in the last winter, and we look forward to seeing our favorite food there again, all in the interest of research, they understand. the caffe de france was the most popular place of his to make a cup coffee for a break from work. it is a modern but basic caffe, located on the (busy) main street, with tables and chairs outside that catch the winter sun very well. they have always served eating, but at the moment the boss/manager works from another bar on the street there. his own spatialities suffered damage in a fire, just before we came here, and he seems to have come to an agreement with the peculiarities of this place. the sun shone down, it was a cozy, so we settled on an outside table and showed that we wanted to eat. there was a plat du jour, from lachsfilet with tagliatelle, but I had expected that I would also be offered something else. but something was lost in the translation, because after putting our table, fill our water glasses and ask if we wanted to drink something, three teller salmon fillet with tagliatelle in a lemon cream sauce were put on the table. now I'm not great to eat fish, but it seemed to be cunning to send it back so that the three of us pulled in. it was simple, but tasty, the salmon was cooked nicely, with a good texture, the sauce was magnifique! the baguette was warm and the left sauce very well cut. the only negatiw was that some of my pasta were not completely boiled. we had a selection of desserts, tarte normande an open apple cake or coulant au chocolat, a chocolate pudding with a gooey, sticky inside. granny and I had the tarte normande and the lsh had the coulant au chocolate. the tar was good, served with a small chantilly cream on the side and with a small caramel sauce. the coulant was the victor who told lsh it was the best he had, and he tried to put it on some! we all had coffee to finish, served with the thin speculos cookies I love. this lunch was typical for many caffes in france, easy to eat, quickly served and good value. the cost for a main course and dessert were per person, and the coffee was highly recommended when they travel along the between apt and forcalquier to midday on a sunny day, but drive when it rains, the interieur is a bit grim.

Een gewoon, eerlijk, onpretentieus dorpscafé. We gingen er 's ochtends voor een grand crème. Vriendelijke bediening zonder tierlantijntjes.
Tja, wat zullen we zeggen. We hadden pech dat het geweldige restaurant dat op de etage erboven zit was gesloten. Dus maar een hapje daar beneden gegeten. Deze dame spreekt slecht over het restaurant erboven en dan krijg je nog iets te eten dat in verbrande olie is gebakken ook.
